Greek General Secretary for Tourism Policy and Development, George Tziallas, participated in the annual international “Conventa Crossover” meeting on Innovative Methods for Promotion of Tourism Destinations, that took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 28 and 29 August.Mr. Tziallas developed the greek national tourism policy, for 365 days a year tourism in Greece and the comparative advantages of our country making it one of the most popular global destinations.
The conference was attended by more than 200 marketing specialists, representatives of tourism groups, professionals and journalists from European and international media, and more than 30 speakers were present on the latest developments and trends in tourism marketing. During the conference, Mr Tziallas met with Slovenia’s General Secretary for Economy Development and Technology, Eva Podlogar, responsible for tourism. They discussed the possibilities of developing collaborations and actions through European programs to promote tourism in the Mediterranean and Europe.
